When correctly prescribed, a daily dosage of antiretroviral medication (ARV) can bring down the viral load in an infected person to an undetectable level, keeping the immune system working and preventing illness.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Regrettably, not everyone has equal opportunities to obtain this vital medication. Specific types of ARV drugs are prohibitively costly, placing them beyond the reach of the typical Malaysian household.
