RED RIBBON MEDIA AWARDS
The Malaysian AIDS Foundation (MAF) Red Ribbon Media Awards, which debuted in 1996, recognises excellence in responsible, evidence-based, effective and inspired journalism in response to HIV/AIDS in Malaysia. The Awards are presented to members of the media – print, broadcast and web-based – for their outstanding work related to HIV/AIDS during the eligibility period. Last held in 2012, the Red Ribbon Media Awards are making their long-awaited comeback this year to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the MAF.
