About the Challenge
Challenge History
In conjunction with World AIDS Day 2021, a day where people globally raise awareness on issues regarding HIV and AIDS as well as emphathising with people living with HIV, the Malaysian AIDS Foundation, together with the Ministry of Health is bringing back 100,000 Steps to End AIDS Virtual Walk to raise funds for underprivileged People Living with HIV in the wake of the challenging COVID-19 pandemic.
First started in December 2020, 100,00 Steps to End AIDS is fundraising programme that encourages donors and participants to live a healthy lifestyle by aiming to complete 100,000 steps within a month. Last year, the programme raised about RM XXXX in donations to help the PLHIV community.
Every steps taken will help support MAF’s effort in getting treatment and care for the PLHIV community.
Join the 100,000 Steps to End AIDS 2021 Virtual Walk by registering from 01 October until 30 November 2021. The event will take place from 01 until 31 December 2021.

What Is World AIDS Day?
Each year, on 1 December, the world commemorates World AIDS Day. People around the world unite to show support for people living with HIV and to remember those who have died from AIDS-related illnesses.
Each World AIDS Day focuses on a specific theme, which this year will be Global solidarity, shared responsibility. This year’s theme joins a growing list of challenges that World AIDS Day has alerted people to globally.
Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first ever international day for global health. Every year, United Nations agencies, governments and civil society join together to campaign around specific themes related to HIV.

No, you must link your BiiB App with either Google Fit or Apple Health.
Once you logged into the BiiB App and successfully synced Google Fit/Apple Health, you will just need to refresh the BiiB App for the steps to come in. You can do this once a day or throughout the day.

This event is open to everyone inside Malaysia only.
