In this diptych, I use images that Malaysian would recognize: a nest of fire ants made of leaves; a orchid plant living on a coconut husk. Plants, which don’t have feelings, are manipulated either by man or animal to their own ends. A pair of human lovers looks at them and sees them as the shape of the human hearts. They see them as the sign of love. ”
